Moderate: A few hours of walking may be involved in the day on mostly flat paved ground.In comparison to most other treks, the Ghorepani Trek is a relatively easy trek around the western part of Kathmandu with its impressive natural scenery and marvelous views of the Himalayan mountains of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchchhre and Himchuli. The highest point of this trek is 3200 meters. With sunlight on the Himalayas serving as a spectacular background to the morning pilgrimage to Poonhill (3210m), the Ghorepani Poonhill trek takes you through charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs (a Nepali people renowned for Gurkha bravery), dense rhododendron forests full of birds, and deep subtropical valleys. The trip starts just north of Pokhara, at Dhampus phedi (Surkhet phedi), Nayapul or Beni Bazaar. The panoramic views of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna I (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6993m), Manaslu (8157m) and other numerous mountains along the world's deepest gorge, the Kali Gandaki gorge, are majestic once-in-a-lifetime thrills epiphanies are made of.

A full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu. (Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhu, and Kathmandu Durbar Square) with an Adventure Outdoor tour guide.
Early morning drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Stunning views of the mighty Himalayan massifs which rise above 8000m, including the peaks of Manaslu, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri, will highlight the drive, followed by an overnight stay in the beautiful city of Pokhara.
An hour-long drive to Naya Pul, passing the picturesque fertile Pokhara valley and the majestic Himalayas in the background, takes you to the Nayapul {1070m}, where we commence our trek to Birethanthi, a large prosperous town that provides reasonable city-like amenities, located at bank of the Modi River. The trail continuously climbs up towards Sudami where we climb gradually up while passing lush rice fields and cascades before we take on the stone staircase to Hile. A short climb up the stone staircase will take you to the scattered village of Hile, a 15 minute walk away from Tikhedhunga {1540m}. The trail crosses the Tikhedhunga stream on a suspension bridge before rising very steeply on a stone staircase that is said to have more than 3800 steps. Along the way are a few lodges and local tea shops that offer drinks (cold drinks and tea) and the breathtaking view of Mt. Annapurna south appearing through a "V" shaped valley. The staircase continues up to the large prosperous Magar village of Ulleri at 1960m, turning its face towards the radiant beauty of the mountains standing over the dense greenery of the forests, mesmerizing in its heavenly beauty.
We gradually climb up through pastures and cultivated field before we reached to Banthati. Then after our trail slightly climbs through the large species Rainforest of oak and Rhododendron, crossing tiny stream with roaring sound of tiny cascade before we make final climb to Nangethanti. Eventually, an hour climbs through dense forest takes us to Ghorepani stands at 2850m.
An early-morning excursion to Poon Hill(3210m) about an hour’s climbing, string us to a spectacular unobstructed view of sunrise sparkling over the high snow-capped Mountains provide a inner freshness in mind after a quite impatience waiting. After spending an hour time , we come back to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast, and starts a trip to Tadapani. The trail climbs up for 45minutes along ridges to get to Deurali {I}{3170m} that offers similar view of mountains to those from Poonhill. Keep climbing through Rhododendron and pine forests to a crest. Then we descend through ridges, interlaced in Deurali {II} {3090m} with collection of souvenir installs. The trail continue to descend alongside the stream .The descend reaches more gentle as the route reached Banthati, several hotels in the shadow of a huge rock face at 2650m.Then the trails climbs gradually up to the crest and descends steeply to stream before climbing again through forests to Tadapani at 2710m.
we continue our trek to Ghandrunk. It takes approximately 3 hours from Tadapani, the trail descends continuously through the dense Forest, then we crossing and re-crossing the small stream by passing few teashops en-route take you to the beautiful Gurung village, the Ghandruk. The views are astounding. We will have overnight here. Therefore, you will have the afternoon to visit the Gurung museum, and we will take you for the short hike to the Mish Ram Barah Temple. We will climb approximately in an hour to the summit of the hill, where the temple is located, which is worthwhile to visit if you would like to do the side-hiking trip.
The trail continues to dropping down to Modi River through the stone paved trail by passing picturesque rice field, muti-faced people, of course provided great impression of Nepali culture and tradition. A continues descend over the stone staircase take us to the Saul bazaar, and then we continue on gently flat trail, we reach Naya Pul then we drive back to pokhara. We overnight in Pokhara. Therefore, you will have a time to explore some of the best places around the Pokhara valley or you can have your time for your own activities.
We pack up early and head for the airstrip to hop a flight back to Kathmandu. Necessary travel arrangements are made and a little time is given wandering around the near by city (wander for the gifts for the remembrance of the trip).
As the time runs, you are departed for your safe journey towards your home country from the Tribhuwan International airport.
