Day 01
Arrival transfer from airport to Hotel. Today, is the first day to arrive in kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, and your flight may arrive sometime in the mid day and may be today you are more tired and would not like to do any activities, so please do keep today as a free afternoon. As kathmandu lies in the subtropical climatic zone in Nepal, the temperature is always fine and most comfortable. Normally it rises upto 32 degree max and 3 degree minimum. Overnight in the hotel at kathmandu. Bed and breakfast.
Day 02
One full day in Kathmandu for the trek preparation, today, we can prepare one small city tour including the kathmandu city and swyambhunath (known as a monkey temple) in the morning and also if it is required to go to the offices to make the trek permit than we are near to the offices of kathmandu. Than also check the luggage and necessary equipments for the trek and trek brief by our trek or office staff which will be interactive between the clients and the guide. Overnight in the hotel at kathmandu. Bed and breakfast.
Day 03
Kathmahmandu-Lukla-Phagding:Today, we will wake up early in the morning as the flight from Kathmandu to Lukla is very early in the morning. We will have a early breakfast in Hotel at kathmandu and head towards the airport for early flight. The flight takes about 40 minutes to reach to Lukla and make some preparation to trek in the high Himalayan region, and start your trek to Phagding village. It may be a short day walk which is about 4 hours and overnight in the lodge of Phakding. Bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.
Day 04
Phakding to Namche:Today we will have the 6 hours trek to reach to the Namchebazar ( the capital of Sherpas) in which the first 3 hours is a simple ups and downs and the trail is not so hard but in the afternoon, you have to ascend the vertical up trail before the Namche which takes long time though the distance is short. Now you will walk in about 3000 meter from sea level and you will experience the fast heart beat and feel the tiredness. Arrive the Namche and overnight in the lodge.
Day 05
At Namchebazar: Full day rest at Namchebazar: Today, you will have a free day which is to acclimatize from AMS so you can have a slow time to wake up, than breakfast and is recommended to walk to the Syangboche and surrounding area which is higher than Namche and for the overnight sleep back to the same lodge at Namche.
Day 06
Namche to Phortse: Wake up early in the morning and breakfast in the hotel and proceed to the another destintion. The trail leads towards the north of Namche and in about 6 hours walk, we will arrive the Phortse for the overnight stay. Normally we trek early in the morning as the afternoon the weather in the himalaya may not be always beautiful. To enjoy the early clear view of the mountain, it is recommended to wake up early in the morning. Overnight at Phortse.
Day 07
Phortse to Dole: This is a upland trek so take your enough time though you start your day early in the morning. Drink as much liquid as possible and have a meal with enough calory. It is recommended to carry some of the high calory bites with you from hometown as here sometime is not available. Then overnight at Dole.
Day 08
Dole to Machermo: Usually the trek begins early in the morning as we go to bed early as well as to arrive in the destination early in the afternoon and enjoy the locality and its surroundings. So today arrive to the Machhermo which is the Base Camp of Machermo peak as well as. This is the joining point of another trek from Dolakha which is popularly known as a Rolwaling trek. Overnight in Machhermo.
09. Machermo to Gokyo: This is also the highland trek which is also the state of Sherpas. Those people are burn there, brought up there and die there so they do not feel the severity of the cold and altitude but we will have certain AMS problems. So try to avoid it by doing and taking precautions. If it is so severe than take your way down and that is the best medicine. Overnight at Gokyo. This camp is famous after the name of the Gokyo lake which is fed by the snow of the Himalaya.
Day 10
Gokyo to Gokyo-Ri: It may take long time to go up as this is the region of less oxygen and our heart beats faster and faster, energy is less and less and start to feel so weak physically. So take your enough time during the ascending and drink enough water and soup as well as high calory food. The Ri means the pass and this is the high pass to go towards another valley from the Gokyo valley. The view of the Himalaya is fantastic though it is hard physically. Overnight in the Gokyo Ri.
Day 11
Gokyo Ri-Phortse: Today, we can descend from the high valley and pass to the lower elevation relatively to Phortse which is the same way of going up. You can overlap the two camp on the way down as the speed is fast and our body and physical system functions better. Overnight at Phortse.
Day 12.
Phortse to Pangboche: This trail offers you a best view and as well as the experience to walk on the high mountains. While you arrive to the Pangboche, the another trekking trail of Tyangboche joins there and enters in the mainstream trek trail of Everest Base Camp. This is a big village relative to others after Namche Bazar and some monasteries are also found there. We can see the Everest, lhotse , Amadablam and many more mountains from there. Overnight in the lodge of that village.
Day 13.
Pangboche to Lobuche or Gorekchhep: Today, we can walk to high altitude from Pangboche so we make an option for the overnight stay either one of this place. This all depends on your physical condition not in a distance. So decide on the spot whether to remain at Lobuche or go the Gorekchhap and overnight there. If you just make the Lobuche, it is the most recommended camp and then other day can make further walk to EBC or Kalapattar or Gorekchap.
Day 14.
Lobuche-Kalapattar-Lobuche: Today, you have a highland trek which is more than 4900 mtrs to 5450 mtrs including the kalapattar. Go early in the morning after breakfast in lobuche to kalapattar and have a lunch at Gorekchap and in the evening descend back to the Lobuche camp.
Day 15.
Lobuche to Dingboche: This is a short walk compare to other days but it is to enjoy the free and slow speed in the Himalaya as we are tired from the long walk and continuous trek. So enjoy the afternoon in the valley of Dingboche.
Day 16.
Dingboche-Chukung-Dingboche: This is a day hike which is to visit another valley of Chukung as well as to have a AMS prevention. It may take all day to go and come back to Dingboche visiting the Chukung valley but it deserves the walk as the valley is beautiful.
Day 17.
Today, walk back descending towards the return journey from the Trek to kathmandu. You can make easily your destination to Tyangboche in which you are familiar. For the lodging, Diboche is better point as there are better lodges than Tyangboche and the distance is just of half an hour.
Day 18.
Diboche to Jorsalle: today, wake up as usual and repeat the same route that you made during the ascending so you can arrive to Namche at the time of Lunch and after lunch continue towards the Jorsalle where you had the entry permission of Sagarmatha National Park have shown. You can have a comfortable stay there as it is a better temperature and also the lower elevation. Overnight at Jorsalle.
Day 19.
Jorsalle to Lukla: Today, you can easily make your destination to Lukla (the airport is located there) where the trail is familiar for you. Than overnight in lukla near the airport. The best lodges are found there . you can clean up yourself and celebrate the successful walking to the Everest region and prepare for your next destination to the capital of Nepal by plan in the next day. Also, if the trek staffs are not coming to kathmandu, than do farewell ceremony by your side as this generally expected by the trek staffs. After all is a good fun to celebrate with the new fellow who served you for your holiday and support to finalize the beautiful holiday.
Day 20.
Lukla to Kathmandu: Normally the flight to kathmandu from Lukla is operated in the early morning so rush to wake up on the adequate time and have a breakfast and go to the airport for your flight to kathmandu. The flight takes about 40 mnts to kathmandu which is a beautiful flight. Leaving the high mountains behind and in the right hand side. While you arrive in kathmandu, than today you will have a lesure time to rest. Today, you will have breakfast in Lukla and the Hotel in kathmandu is included.
Day 21.
One full day sightseeing in the kathmandu valley. Today, you can wake up at 08:00 and have a breakfast at 08:30 am. We leave for full day sightseeing to the temple of Buddhanath, Pashupatinath, the city of Bhaktapur or Bhdagaun and the city of pokhara. These four squares are the world heritage sites of Nepal and you can visit all of them in the one day. Day 22.
Departure transfer from hotel to airport for the final departure. Take it easy in the morning and prepare your departure from Nepal to your destination.
