When the tantrism and Buddhism arrived in Tibet, they had to confront with the existing tradition of Tibet known as a Bon tradition. During the process of introduction, the new faith took the process of intermingling and acceptance of some philosophy of the old tradition. Thus in the process of crisscross, the new name came into existence in Tibetan tradition known as a Lamaism. They believe in shamanistic practice and some Buddhist influence on it. Padmasambhav, a precious guru who is the spiritual teacher and guide for the means and ways of salvation. According to this tradition, everything is empty and there is everywhere illusion bred of ignorance. To recognize evils is a way of eliminating them. According to their tradition, there are two conditions which is to be fulfilled for nirvana. Understanding of the mechanism of our psycho physical life through meditation and yoga and making an analysis which ends by giving up all logical concepts for the pure light of intention, and the other one is showing compassionate love for all beings that are ignorant of the reality.
There are several monastery in Nepal and Tibet of this cult and their priest is called Lama. There are famous lamas in Tibet as well as in Nepal. Some live in monastery and some in the family home which depends on their family tradition. In the northern part of Nepal and around the kathmandu valley we can find this tribes which is famous and well known as a mountain guide as well as pastures. In lama cult, they found different school which is also same in Buddhism. The different sects of Lamaism are, Nyingma pa sect, Sakyapa sect, Kagyu pa sect, Kadam pa sect, Gelukpa sect etc.
