Dear Valued Visitors,
Greetings from the Himalaya!
It gives me a great pleasure to tell you something about Nepal and Adventure Outdoor.
Nepal with population of about 27 million is a diverse country in terms of geography, ethnicities, cultures and bio-diversities. There are about 101 ethnic groups and almost 100 spoken languages in Nepal. With its 147,181 square kilometers of land the country boasts 3.96 percent mammals, 3.72 percent butterflies and 8.9 percent of birds, of the total number of species found on the planet. Likewise, out of the total number of species found globally, it has a share of 2.80 percent of plants.
Nepal is a confluence of two greatest religions, Hinduism and Buddhism and a melting pot of world’s two major civilizations, Aryan and Mongol. Notwithstanding its religious and ethnic diversities, there is no animosity among the people of this nation, rather they are weaved together by the common fabrics of self-respect, love, empathy and tolerance, which is arguably a rarity in most of the parts of the world which are plagued by religious or racial conflicts.
Nepal is such a destination where you can visit any season and for any reason, be it cultural/ religious tours, pilgrimage, adventurous activities or simply laying-back in the wilderness of nature. The uniqueness of this Himalayan nation is that a visitor can find intangible culture amid its tangible heritage at a same place and time. For instance, a temple or a palace square is a tangible heritage made by humankind, but the culture or beliefs related with that very edifice might have been practiced through many generations.
This is the reason why, Adventure Outdoor is there to make your dream a reality with its swift operation of travel related services in Nepal and beyond (China, India, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh). We have cheerful and competent staffs licensed by the Government of Nepal to take care of your every concern and interest. We are specialized in adventurous activities, such as trekking, expeditions and mountaineering. Since our mission is safety first when it comes to adventurous activities, our staffs have undertaken internationally recognized high-altitude rescue training and, many other safety drills to ensure you remain safe throughout your stay in Nepal. We also have experienced tour guides having proficiency in many international languages as well as cultural experts for those who want to experience/explore Nepal’s heritage and culture.
Given Nepal’s geo-strategic position, its state-of- the-art convention facilities and connectivity with the rest of the world it is an ideal destination for MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Conference and Exhibition) tourism. Adventure Outdoor has also been operating and facilitating MICE tourism.
Besides the aforementioned activities, we also make customized tour packages for our guests depending upon their interest. This is the reason why our guests tend to visit Nepal again and again, which simply endorses the fact that our service distinguishes us from others. Those who come as visitors become friends by the time they leave Nepal.
We look forward to welcoming you in our beautiful country.
With warm regards,
Kalyan Sharma, PhD
