This trek covers both the North and South base camps of Kanchenjunga and offers spectacular views of the massif and surrounding mountains. Not as popular and less frequented compared to the Everest and Annapurna circuit treks, the Kanchenjunga circuit trek is regarded as a complete Nepali experience that spans a large area relatively untouched by modernization. Charming little Rai, Tamang and Magar villages dot the Southern areas of the trek, while mostly Sherpa villages adorn the North.

The moutains you will see along the trail: The five peaks of Kanchenjunga (Main- 8586m, West- 8505m, Central- 8482m, South- 8494m, Kangbachen-7903m), the Kabru mountains (all of which are 7000m+), Wedge Peak (6,750m), Mera Peak(6,344m), Nepal Peak (6,910m), the Twins (7,351m), Jannu (7,710m) Koktang (6,147m), Rathong (6,679m), and numerous other smaller peaks.
The trek starts at Suketar Airport, to the Southwest of the mountain, and climbs up slowly, allowing for acclimatization. The trek takes you to Pangpema- a landscape photographer's paradise- near the North base camp of Kanchenjunga.

The trek can be completed in fewer or more days depending on your ability and preference.
