From the busy streets we get out of the valley. We stay at five out of the six best outlooks for viewing the mighty Himalaya, from Dhaulagiri in the west to Everest in the east, so we will not miss what is arguably the world’s finest mountain scenery. Also the valley is historic center of Nepal where palaces and temples were built and Nepalese art and culture were developed.  The way is the combination of superb dirt trails and single track that connects the abundance of temples, monsteries and palaces which makes the biking an exhilarating and fascination place. This trip is not only fun but also challenging. Basically, it is suitable for those with off-road experience also some trails are technical and there are some long climbs rewarded by even bigger descents. We should be very much careful while riding.

Our ride will start from Kathmandu and ends at Kathmandu. On our ride we will be going first to Buddhanilkantha where we will see Ganesh and LangtangHimals and then to Chisopani. On our fourth day we will be riding to Nagarkot where beautiful mountains will be seen. From Nagarkot we will be riding to Bhaktapur on our 5th day. On our last day of package we will be coming back to Kathmandu from Shanku.
Day 1: Arrival
After your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our guides and and will taken to hotel in Thamel which is touristy place of Kathmandu. Thamel is very busy place and it is full of restaurants, cafes and also shops. You can enjoy the day here in Thamel as time can be passed very nicely roming around and also shopping. In afternoon, we will sort out the bikes and in dinner you will be given a tour’s briefing.

Day 2: After the sound sleep and waking up early we will leaving Kathmandu having a heavy breakfast. We will ride through bustling streets of Thamel to wide undamaged jeep and single track. On our ride we will pass through the Queen forest to the Buddhanilkantha(known as Sleeping Vishnu) which is a remarkable  5th century statue of the Lord Vishnu and is reclined on the coil of the snake king in the middle of small pond. You might be tired of the ride but after you reach Buddhanilkantha, your effort will be rewarded by spectacular panoramic mountain view of Ganesh and LangtangHimals. By our night at a true resort established in a rural setting which is culturally rich and naturally pristine environment which has a garden ports nearly 75 species of birds and 2000 flowering trees and shurbs. We will be staying out night in the same resort. Our ride is about 53km on this very day.

Day3: Early morning we will be having a adventurous ride to Shivapuri Reserve. We will be starting with a steep upward ride which is approximately 7km on paved and off roads. Likeway we will reach to Chisopani which is our final destination which rounds off a challenging day. So again today’s lodge enjoys outstanding and closest views of panoramic mountain ranges which is one of the best outlooks within the valley region. We ride around 40 km on this day.

Day 4: Today we will ride down from Chisopani into North East corner of the KTM valley, then it’s on to a mix of single and jeep track to wind our way to Nagarkot, our route will depend on the condition of the trails. We will be having short steep climb intoNagarkot and we will be rewarded with a comfortable and peaceful surrounding of hotel on the valley rim. Apart from biking movie “Retread” was flimed on this section. On this very day we ride 25km or 35km.

Day 5: Early morning we will be awaked by farm activity and we can enjoy the sunrise view from the terrace. Today we explore around Nagarkot or you can take rest this day, depends upon you. If we go on ride, there are numerous off-road routes possible today either road, or wide dirt and single track.We have our own choice on today’s ride ending at the medieval town of Bhaktapur for lunch then time to look around before transfer back up the hill to Nagarkot, else you can ride up the road if you wish to. Bhaktapur is an old restored city full of temples and courtyard.  Over night at Hotel

Day 6: This day starts with an exciting descents on Jeep tracks. Today we will pass through many rustic villages and Himalayas in the right if the day is clear. By our ride we will reach to the beautiful ancient village of Shanku.  From Shanku we will be on tarmac road towards Boudhanathstupa which is known as the largest stupa in Nepal, here we will have lunch and then ride back to Kathmandu valley via Tokha village and Kopan Monastery enjoying beautiful views. Its 3 hours ride through beautiful villages, field and temples. Today’s ride if about 34-40 km with 650m descent.

Rafting
Description:
Trisuli is the river we are going to enjoy our rafting. According to Legend somewhere high in the Himalaya of Gosainkund region where Lord Shiva is said to reside, he drove his Trident(Trisul) into the ground to create three springs hence it is named Trisuli. Despite lacking in technicality and scenery it is still the most famous and well-known river in Nepal. Its famous because it runs along the Prithivi highway that enables one to go to other parts of the country and to India. There still is one section of the river that doesnot meet the road and this is the section where one can enjoy the scenic view of the gorge

Day 7: Today, it is starting point of our rafting adventure. Before heading straight into grade 3 rapids like Snell’s Nose, Monkey, Teen Devi(Three Goddess), etc usual briefing and the formalities is given. We will reach our campstie at Charoudi after 3 to 4 hours of paddling workout. You can relax and lounge around the sandy beach and enjoy the calm and serene atmosphere. You will be given treat as our guide pride themselves on being the best cooks in the business. After dinner, you can relax and plan for tomorrow’s adventure where we will be splashing our way down the river once again.

Day 8: After breakfast, we will be doing workouts to stretch our body to help make out muscles flexible. Today is the day where we will come across one of the most technical rapid in Trisuli called Upset  where we will get many surprises, and also feel its power of grade 4 rapid. We will come to our campsite in Kuringhat and meet up with villagers who are just curious to see foreigners and also village children. You can use your communicating skills to interact with them. Today will be ended with hearty dinners and you can expect lot more for tomorrow.

Day 9: Today is the final day of rafting. This will be very interesting day as we raft down the Trisuli passing under the cable cars that take worshippers up to the temple of Manakamana where it is believed that one will be granted with whatever one’s heart desires. We will be splashing our way down to Mungling, which is a place for trading and also where the highway breaks into two, one leads to the Terai and to India and the other takes to Pokhara which is the starting point of most treks. Overnight in lodge at GaiGhat.

Safari
Day 10: So, Safari starts, Its CHITWAN. Today after lunch we will be travelling village by ox-cart. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 11: Today is the day full of fun. Firstly, after breakfast we will go elephant ride. We will go inside jungles and will get to see many animals there. After lunch, we will do camel ride and will visit Elephant Breeding Centre, where we will get to see twin elephants, if not Elephant Breeding Centre we might go for Jungle Walk as well. Choice is all yours. After Tea-Break we will be enjoying cultural show that is Tharu stick dance, where we will dance along with them. Overnight at lodge.

Day 12: we might do Jungle Drive or Cycle Tour in 20 thousand lakes, description of lakes and story behind its name will be given by our guide. After lunch we will be doing elephant bath, that’s more than fun and also side show. Overnight at lodge.

Day 13: Early morning as soon after we become fresh we will leave for  watching bird than return to lodge for breakfast, after heavy breakfast we will drive back to Kathmandu. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 14: Departure
 Today is the day, you going to depart carrying all the memories along with you.
