If we are able to go inward now and waken up ourself, we can experience the Buddha at the moment. In every heart, mind and body which is great or small creature has an inner radiance that reflects the essential positive nature. This inner light is refer in all religions as pure radiance or innate luminosity. In fact, we can call it a ground luminosity because ii is bottom line. The luminosity is birthless and deathless which is neither before nor later. It is a bright light and emptiness like clear light and it is endowed with the heart of unconditional compassion and love.
Not only in Nepal or in the Indian subcontinent the light is used as the symbol of enlightenment but all over the world religions like jwish, Christianity, muslims etc. people while go to the temple they candle light which is the symbol of spiritual luminosity. We also candle light in the night or in the dusk and dawn to invite the light and spirit of the god into the temple of home. If we think about all the millions of men and women who have bowed their heads in prayer while lighting candles. Do any of us really think that the Buddha or any other images or the absolute needs a candle to see or to stay warm? Lighting the candle is just a symbolic way of offering light in the darkness. The candle symbolizes the inner light and luminous wisdom that can guide each of us through the darkness of ignorance and confusion. This is also the inner luminosity, clarity of the living spiritual flame burning within the temple of our heart and soul. This is the symbol of enlightenment and enlightenment means an end to directionless wandering through the dreamlike passageways of life and death. It means you have found your own home Buddha. Thus the light is used by all religions to shine the inner soul and mind.
