Helambu Trek - 11 Days

Kathmandu, the capital city, boasts an intense mix of cultures and religions unique to Nepal. The unpaved road from Kathmandu transforms into a trail close to a small hydroelectric plant. The trail will enter through the Shivapuri Watershed and Shivapuri Nagarjun national park. The major settlement you pass over is Mulkharka with Tamang village. The trail heads down the edge through backwoods of oaks and rhododendron to Chisapani (2300 m.), which has eminent views of Annapurna to Everest.

The trail keeps on dropping from Chisapani on a decent, some of the time level trail that crosses knolls and fields. You will then slide through Pati Bhanjyang till Gul Bhanjyang. The trail at that point climbs the edge from Gul Bhanjyang to another go at 2620 m. The glade here makes a decent outdoors spot and is downhill to Kutumsang at 2470 m, in a seat on the edge.
