Makalu is Situated in the core of eastern Himalayas yet pretty much 14 miles east of Mt. Everest. The Massive Mountain with a noticeable quality of 2386m and considering encompassing profound valleys like Arun and Barun is to some degree confined.
The valleys, in especially the Barun valley, are the home of immaculate timberlands and snow-capped glades of Nepal. Adventure Outdoors warmly welcome the guest at Tribhuwan International Airport Nepal with a plea card along with Tourist bus, Hiace or a Car depending on the number of Visitors. Once arrival we transfer our guest to the hotel and if the pickup is of morning we serve a hot and wonderful lunch along a pleasurable hotel service and at night dinner in the city area and monitoring the ultimate facility of our guest we provide an accommodation service.
We pick our guest from the hotel and help them to make a small tour. The half day sightseen include wonderful places around Kathmandu along few driving distance country side villages. Stay overnight at Kathmandu.
Hiking in Nepal is not easy as it requires utmost energy thus accepting challenges is necessary. We thereby help our visitors to work all the legal requirements of hiking unit and also help to brief them the basic concept of Nepal tours and tourism industry.
In a flight of 50 minutes from Kathmandu we reach Tumlingtar airport. Take a break for few minutes and we start a journey at four-wheeler and finally reach Num village. If guest prefer lodge we transfer them to lodge, if not we set a camp and stay overnight.
From Num valley we begin our trek and walking for a long hour passing beautiful villages we reach sheduwa. Upon arrival we take a rest and set our camp. Inside camp we prepare for other day hike.
Crossing the beautiful paddy ground from sheduwa and also crossing the Ipsuwa Kola we finally reach Tashi gau a small rural village where we set our camp and stay overnight.
After passing the village of Tashi Gau we slowly headed uphill and reach the Khongma. Passing the Barun Valley we reach Khongma and upon arrival we set our camp at beautiful land of Khongma and stay overnight.
Now from Khongma we again start to trek and walking continuously uphill we reach Mumbuk. Upon arrival we set camp and stay overnight.
We continuously take a height, so it may be a problem if not adapt well with an atmosphere. Thereby, on day 9 we stay at Mumbuk village and see places near it. We take a rest and plan for further visits and watch the health condition of a group.
From Mumbuk we trek forward to another small village. After a day long walk we reach our destination of day 10 at Nehe Kharka where we set our base camp and stay overnight.
From Neha Kharka we trek continuously and reaching uphill at an attitude of 4870 m we set our camp. The camp at 4870 m is famously known as Makalu Base camp a common tourist destination with immense beauty. At camp we along with our friends take a rest and plan for other day hike.
At an altitude of 4870 m we take a halt for a day. The day is separated for adaptation since from lower base camp we now take a hike to other high camps, so it is very important to adapt the altitude from our body.
Early morning, we start our trek and walking incessantly up we reach a high camp where we set our camp and stay overnight.
The voyage begins from day 14 and end at day 29 which tentatively is of 34 days trek. The trek is a complete adventure with full of challenges while at same we can view spectacular nature. Within 34 days we unceasingly walk whole day and fix our tent and stay overnight. At morning if weather is supportive we start our trek. Finally, after long and exhausting walk we reach the peak of 8,463 m and cheer up the victory. On the completion of submit climbing we return down to base camp and on 34th day we reach camp and finally sleep overnight at lower base camp.
We rest whole day at day 44 and clean all our mess around camp, pack our back and get ready for another day drive and stay overnight at camp.
We descend from the base camp unceasingly towards Yangli Kharka and after a long day walk reach the Camp and set our camp and relax.
From Yangli Kharka we start our trek and after visiting wonderful field of paddy buck wheat we reach down at Khongma. The destination of day 46 and upon arrival we set our camp and stay overnight at Khongma.
After spending night at Khongma, we early morning March towards another destination and at evening reach Sheduwa. At Sheduwa we set a camp and spent our night.
After Sheduwa the trek begins towards Num valley and slowly after a walk of 6-7 hours we reach deep down Num valley and set our camp and rest for the night.
After a long and tedious walk at day 49 we finally take a jeep ride and head towards Tumlingtar. Upon arrival we will take a delicious dinner at a hotel and stay overnight.
From Tumlingtar we take a flight of nearly 40 minutes and return back to Kathmandu from where we begin our long journey. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel and stay overnight at Kathmandu.
On the day we once again visit and shop places around Kathmandu and finally take a farewell dinner and stay overnight at Kathmandu hotel.
